Your Source For Redding Real Estate

Redding California is not only a great place to call home, but a very beautiful city with distinct seasons.  You might say a river runs through it, that's fairly obvious. Redding, seat of Shasta County, is neatly bisected by California's biggest stream, the Sacramento River.  Much of the core of the city is just west of it and the newer sections with the modern shopping is the the east.

I hope you enjoy the photos of just a few of the locations that make this growing and vibrant city, one of the top destinations for many form the large metropolitan areas looking for their next home.
Enjoy !

Country properties are abundant in the outskirts of town in areas like Palo Cedro (seen here), Anderson, Cottonwood, Bella Vista and others.

 Cascade Theater

The Cascade Theater - Downtown.
This classic theater was built in 1935.  With extensive rehabilitation it was reopened in August 2004 after being closed for many years.  The Cascade originally seated 1348, during it's second life it was converted into 4 small theaters for running second run movies for a one dollar admission.  Today it has returned to the beauty that it is and re-opened in August 2004.  The theater hosts events ranging from dinner theater to concerts and fund raising dance recitals.  Visit their website

Park Marina Drive
The Park Marina area is beautiful in it's current form and with plans in the works to redesign this riverfront gem it will be spectacular.  Just down river from the Sundial Bridge . These views are looking to the west and into the downtown portion of town.

Sacramento River Trail System
The two photos shown are taken from the same spot on the trail just north of Caldwell Park, as you can see it was in the winter months. The bridge shown was built in 1915 and is called the Diestelhorst Bridge.  The bridge just visible to the behind it is it's replacement for automotive traffic the original now is only for pedestrian type traffic.  another suspension bridge is further up river while the Sundial Bridge is to the south.
